Yes! Yesterday I went to a book store and this lady who most would tag as a “Karen” was hell-bent that she BOUGHT a book online and it was being held at the store. The clerk tried to assure her that they don’t charge people for held books until the come to the store and the fact that she hadn’t kicked it up for two months meant it was back on the shelf.

She was exceptionally rude. She talked down to the guy and then when someone else stepped in to help, she was rude to them too. She’s not rude because she’s a woman, or middle aged, or white, or wearing an entire outfit from Chico’s. It’s because she’s an asshole. Don’t call her Karen. Call her an asshole.
