We have done the same. Started saving day one. She just got a 26 on her ACT without studying at all. She’s got recruiters looking at her for two different sports.

The issue I have with that is that we can do this but there is no way others can. We have privilege. I make enough to save a good amount every month since her birth. We make enough to put her in club sports. What about the kids whose parents can barely get by? The kids who have to work after school, not to save for college, but to help the family? This is how we keep the lower class lower class.
