Very good points. That hard part is that we, as a collective, need to fix this. Single women of color make the lowest salary of anyone in the US. That is a shitty hard to be dealt. So, for them marriage and couplehood is incentivized with perpetuates patriarchal ideals that they need men because society is making it so they do.

Also, I'm talking about women beyond childrearing age. We're on our own and we're okay. The whole child rearing time of women's lives is a whole other ball of wax.
