Thank you for the compliment. As you can imagine I get a lot of “sit down and shut up” comments. I try to respond to every one but it’s not easy and a lot of times does not come out right. So, I appreciate your time and follow up.

You are dead on that there is a lot of our country that has been built by white men and that should never be discounted. I would never want that taken away.

I like what you said about getting to completely own your failures. As a women I don’t want to place blame. At the same time, I get exceptionally annoyed on a regular basis. It’s small things a lot of people don’t consider and men don’t think about because they don’t feel it. A woman who is very direct and detached is told to be more approachable. In men, I have seen that same level of directness go without commentary. We notice. Women notice all kinds of small things.
