Thank you! I think it’s gone on for so long because it’s such a small comment that carries such massive weight that a lot of people just miss it.

The comment about my boss being such a girl came on the heels of that same HR director moving a client from my portfolio because he thought that they “just might respond better to a man.” Didn’t stand up for me. Just pulled it.

Had those two incidents not happen together, it may have flown right by my radar. Comments like these are that common.
