She is a young Boomer. There is a different train of thought that is difficult to shake off. My parents are actually the Silent Generation (before Boomers) and I was always taught that a partner's income should play into your choice to marry them. My parents believe that the man is the head of the household and should be the breadwinner and provider. I would think Boomer women are far more apt to let a man take care of everything.
