Oddly, I have a working draft on the economics of dating, actually. You make a really good few points here. I work two jobs right now. I have a desk job and then I freelance. So I work every evening and on weekends. Going on a date literally kills my earnings. That's hard to contend with when I have financial goals I want to hit. That feels awful though.
