I absolutely hold that the number of people that are writing regularly on Medium and are not members that don’t pay the membership because they can’t afford it are very few and far between.

Go look at the number of articles that are being featured, curated, and promoted by a platform that those riders are not supporting. These are tech experts, chefs, psychologists, entrepreneurs, and professional writers.

The five dollars, to me, is a means to the end.
