Mules? In what way? How?

What are the expectations here? 45% of men have wives that makes as much or more as them and those dudes do LESS work at home than those women. So 45% of men, on average, are doing less and earning as much or less than their wives. But, the MEN are the mules and the MEN are not well-taken care of? It seems that AT LEAST 45% of men are pretty damn well take care of.
