Many of the statements here are unliaterally false, gross generalizations, or simply meant to shame people who are single into couplehood.
Case in point: "Most single people don’t have friends to force the expansion of their comfort zone. Why? Depression." Painting a picture of single people being sad, depressed, and without community is flat out dangerous.
This negative narrative that single people are miserable and until they change their entire being in order to attract a mate and become a couple is harmful and myopic.
Side note: being introverted is a real thing and not a switch people can turn off to make new friends.
