Let me demonstrate that misogyny is real and not a shame tactic: Your comment only notes the downfall of women who become homeless later in life because they have no mate. What about the single men? Did you know that single women make 63 cents for every dollar a married man makes? Single women do not run the risk of homelessness because they don't have a partner. The run that risk because because they are seen as less valuable than married men? Why do think that is? Because men such as yourself tell then they are not valuable.

You are not empathizing. You are sympathizing. You are not attempting to see the world from a woman's perspective. You are judging her, feeling her a hopeless creature doomed to destitution lest she reduce herself to accepting whatever a man throws her way in order to be saved from singlehood.

Singlehood is not a disease that needs to be cured. Being in a couple should not be someone's end all, be all goal of life. And let's be clear: I have NO fear of my future. Failure to plan is not an issue that only befalls single women.
