Joe, you’re a good egg. You may not act like that but other men do and it needs to stop. I see the ad as encouraging the good ones to call out the bad ones. I see women say and do things that either perpetuate stereotypes or otherwise cause harm to others and I have no problem gently saying, “That’s not helping anyone. Please stop.” It’s a jolt for them. And if a friendship goes by the wayside because I have to tell my friend that she’s doing more harm than good, well, then that’s not a friendship worth keeping.
