Interesting perspective I am hoping is the case. I wrote a piece that went crazy last month. It’s at 25K views with 13k of those coming from Google search results and 9K of those coming from viral Facebook shares. I was overjoyed that my piece was relevant and helpful to so many people. Of course, it was about the New York abortion law and the read rate was low at 28%. Most likely due to people realizing I was pro-choice and bailing fast.

The piece has made me a whopping $12 in the last 30 days. 25k views, viral exposure, $12.

I hope somewhere in the Universe this all ends up making sense.
