I had a rather horrific falling out with a family member this year. I have been in an on again, off again long distance relationship for over a year. This man and I do adore each other it’s just hard. We met online on a fluke. We have never lived the same town. I visit when we can and take breaks in our relationship when we need to.

This family member debased our relationship to me “running off to California to get laid.” Calling the guy an asshole and me a classless slut, basically. Threw the cow statement out.

When I told this guy about it he blew it off but came back to it. He was mad. He was genuinely concerned about the effect it would have on me. He made sure to look me in the eye and tell me, “You know I love you, right.” It made it better. He understood how damaging something could be and that if I bought into that crap, it would have ruined our relationship.

I’m not a cow and I’m not a possessions. I am not for fucking sale.

But, I do like calling my guy Milk Boy now….
