I absolutely understand what you are saying, and I see your point. I meant no disrespect for anybody working in that position. The polo shirt, slacks combo is a utilitarian combination. It is some thing where you can move easily and do a variety of tasks. Should you need to. That fits the bill for somebody who works in a retail environment. However, in a corporate environment, the need for utilitarian uniform does not exist. Expecting women to dress in such an outfit is not allowing them to be comfortable in their work environment. It is allowing men to be comfortable in their work environment, and expecting women to look exactly the same.
