Exactly this! I just don’t have time to waste. But, I also realize that fireworks will rarely go off on a first date. I’m too gun shy for fireworks. I also have cultivated a pretty sweet life. For me, it’s almost a question of if spending time with this guy is on par with sitting on my couch with a good book, glass of wine and my dog. Rarely is that answer — yes. But, my dog’s happy!
