A group of friends laughing behind a guy’s back because his girlfriend or wife is taking him to the cleaners is not shame. He’s not being shamed. Why? Because he’s aware of the ridicule or judgment. It’s hidden from him. How does this man feel public shame in that regard? I don’t think you understand what victim shaming is, sir.
